Hello All,

Great to see so many of you braving the early hour (10 a.m. start) on
a Saturday and the cold temperatures (29 degrees) and the wind chill
(18 degrees) and the wind (10 to 15 mph).

Congratulations to josh, adam, erin, and ben for "going the distance"
under some tough conditions.

I beieve that Erin took 5th place in her age group with a terrific
51:11 finish time, just 23 seconds ahead of Josh, who finished in 51:34.

Ben and Adam had great times, too, running 8:39 and 8:41 ppm
respectively, good for finishes of 53:39 and 53:53, on a course with a
significant hill towards the finish.

I had not my best time ever, squeaking out a 1:07:08, but feeling
upbeat that at least I finished.

Travis has posted some great pictures, I added to them, and I'll try
to send you a link soon to more general pictures from the race.

The results, of course, and many other pictures are online at the GRTC
web site.

I hope you had a good time and that we can do it again soon.

Happy winter running!
