Your pace sounds perfect for our 6-pack team at Run Like Hell! b 8-)
We need a 6th person to dress up in a costume and be willing to run together as a group. (No speedsters here. The group has to go as slow as the slowest runner.) The fun is to dress up in a theme costume and try to remain hooked together for the entire 5k distance. Last year we took second place in the team costume contest as the "Adult Mutant Ninja Track Turtles."
If you're interested, let's talk more.
BTY: we have a faculty/staff/student/community running group that runs every Wednesday morning all year long. We leave from S LOT about 7am, do various distances and speeds – we have walkers – and then we have bites and beverages at the Crossroad Restaurant after.
Here's out web site.

I just joined, but you knew that. I'm looking for people to run with
at lunch time 11:00 or so. I run 3 to 4 miles at 10 minute/mile
pace. I'm heavy and slow for now but trying to get re-motivated.
Hoping to find at least one other person to run with. My old running
group is in Webster, at Xerox, and I miss them.
I will be running the Johnny's run like hell this year with my
children and don't want to slow them down.
