I got a tire temp pyrometer at the track that
stores 10 sets of 12 readings to check tire pressure and camber settings at the
track. I had LG Motorsports do a check for me when Lou was out on the track.
They used my pyrometer to check both of our cars one after the other. I felt
like a racer pulling into the pits hot and having a race team check my tires
and burn out back on the track. I found I was running too high a pressure in
the left rear. High speed right turns were increasing the left rear higher then
the other three tires. So I lowered the left rear before the next session. Much
better results in turn 1 & 2. Was able to pass Craig on that outing. Craig
said that I had a fast car. You talk about a compliment, was very happy with
the results of my coilover project. You can use it for Monday if you like.

Looks like a good bar but I don't like the splined
ends and front adj is not necessary..rear is the one to adj..GMs T1 one piece
matched set for our cars
I'll let you know how the T1 bars work out Monday..Friday I'm getting
alignment so everything should be close to best can be.

Most guys who have the TI bars love them. Seem to start out
with them on "middle settings". Go out and see how it
handles, adjust if necessary.

Scott,
Congrats!
Lou on your covers, that's cool!
Glad things went well, I like good news!
What happened to brakes?
You mean Oct 7,8 right?
Chin is there this coming Monday 7th I'm doing that one just Monday...they
soloed certified me last year..need no instructor at all..my favorite
way..My new bars are a love hate relationship, almost took them
out..loosened up the bushings, they were too tight, and getting track
alignment Fri.
Chin gives 3 hrs/day so I'll have plenty of time to get used to car
setup..or really total it out!

Just
back from the Glen. Gary B. & I passed the
Open Track" certification with Trackmasters. In honor of the event, I
lost my brakes, just like I did when I graduated from Novice to
Intermediate. Only difference is this time I knew what to do!
FInal event of teh year is Sept 7th & 8th. If I can sort my brakes out
in time, I'm there!
