The Marlin 1894C (IIRC) is a really NICE little 357/38Spl lever
action carbine. Very 'handy' and more than decently accurate. A
friend of mine saw one and could not rest until he had one of his
own - I think he finally found one over in Nebraska and had it
shipped to his local FFL in NC. He took a deer with it recently -
one-shot - DRT - at about 75 yards. I think it was a 125 grain JHP at
around 2100 fps, but I may have misremembered the data.
I don't know if Henry offers one in 357, but I think Taurus might.
Best regards
John
