Another super bright flashlight is to use 4 C-type Ni-metal hydride
rechargeable batteries in a 3-cell Maglight or other brand. Some won't
accept 4 C batteries. If necessary use a cardboard tube to keep the smaller
batteries in line. The regular bulb is kept and may burn out quicker; just
replace it with a Krypton bulb or whatever best bulb there is for 3
batteries, about 4.5 volts.
