I haven't 'had it out' for quite some time, but, I have a 'side-mounted' scope
mount that required the removal of NOTHING and NO 'gunsmithing'.
Sorry I can't help you with 'who' or 'what' or 'where,' etc.!
(You might check with "B-Square"[?])
*"Note to John B.:" SOME of us, sadly, have vision such that with ONE eye we
can see the SIGHTS but not the TARGET, and with the other eye can see the TARGET
but not the ['iron'] SIGHTS!! I HAVE used one of those ['good quality']
'stick-on-the-glasses' aperture sights with pretty decent success, but much
better with pistol than with rifle-- you need just the right shooting glasses,
also, to get the aperture just about exactly 'over your nose and bent to the
correct angle' as is required for iron-sighted rifle shooting!
But, it can be done.
I'll look for the 'brand / source' of MY very-satisfactory 'aperture sight' and
post it; a bit further down the road...
Keep your powder dry...
