Banning the last fake address used by a spammer is totally useless as
long as you let the spammers join and immediately spam the group.
Banning spammers by their fake address is generally known as playing
Whack-a-Mole -- the main difference between it and the arcade game of
that name is that there are no prizes for playing whack-a-mole with
spammers.
