Yes, both sets have the 160 lb - 220 lb springs. And both sets are still
available. When inquiring, please let me know whether you are interested in
the new set or the used set.

Does anyone know how to over-engineer these to give us big guys a
chance to experience walking etc via Power Risers as fast fun?
Biggest Brightest Blessings!!!
I have two sets of Powerisers for sale if anyone is interested. Both are
the adult 7090 version, and I have one lightly used set and one set that is
new in the box. I would like $350 + shipping OBO for the set that is new in
the box or $250 + shipping OBO for the used set.
Let me know if anyone is interested or knows someone who might be
interested.
Hey Shawn,
Any takers on the used pair yet? Those are the 160
pound and above grade?
I would buy them at the end of this week if they are
still around...
Many thanks

If you check out superdairyboys site there is now a Poweriser Model
#90110 for weights bettween 220 and 260! Also, it seems to me his
prices have raised, adult models are now $425 and kids $250 !
Anyway, does anyone know if the skyrunners.com powerisers come with
a warranty? Mitch
Hey, it's mitch. It's been awhile since I posted and I wanted to
update you since I said I would have the money soon. I got like $300
in gift cards for christmas plus $100 from other family relatives,
and $40 from doing a job for someone. BUT, I'm not using all of the
gift cards on the powerisers, some are going into the bank. I have
$183 in money plus one of the gift cards is $283, just $87 more! I
could use some more of one of my gift cards, not too sure at this
point. But I'll tell you when I have enough. I'll probably go to try
them out in pennsylvania. Mitch
Hi, I'm new to the group. I'm mitchell, I'm 13 and live in New
Jersey. I have known about powerrisers for a few years and have
always been wanting them. I have many other hobbies inchuding my 102
pound rubberbandball!> www.freewebs.com/rubberband-/ . And my
telescope building hobby. > www.freewebs.com/mitchsspacepics .
Yes, I actually made the ball, and yes I am building my own
telscope, including making the mirror. But anyway, with christmas in
like 1 week and a half I will be getting alot of money, i can soend
like 200 from my parents, so as much that I want tot put toward the
powerisers I can (Prabably around $100) Then I am slowly making
money, plus money from relatives for X-mas, and if thats not enough,
which it should be, I have my b-Day in june which would give me more
than enough. Mitch
P.S. I have read bascally all the posts and searched the web alot,
these things are awsome! Unfortunitly thought, I'm too big for the
kids one's, but hey, alot higher bounces!
Just got Word on an extreme Segment they are doing on Fox sports. they are looing for some Extreme Atletes. here is the web adress if anyone wants to check it out.
Those who have been using risers for a while may have discovered the
clack that comes when your busing at the top of the riser wears out.
It makes a clack noise and eventually will warp the aluminum housing.
I repaired this with a bearing kit, it replaces the soft brass
bushings with needles bearings and polished hardened bolts. You get a
much more silent and smooth operation with the kit.
Check it out.

Hello Everyone,
Well, I ordered my first pair of risers yesterday. I have been
reading all the posts and the different message boards on the
internet the deal with the risers. I cannot wait for them to
arrive. I have a few questions.
I am pretty good on a trampoline as far as flips go. I can do all
the front and back flips etc... Can anyone compare the trampoline
to the risers? Will they be pretty similar to doing flips on a
trampoline? I weight 178 lbs. The company I got them from was sold
out of the 7090's and they were on back order for three weeks. They
told me the poweriser company just upgraded the spring in the 5070's
and they would be just fine with me weighing 180 lbs. He said by
getting the 5070's with the new upgraded sping I would get higher
jumps and longer strides than the 7090's. Has anyone else heard
this or have the newer 5070's with the new upgraded spring? I hope
they are what I expect. Well, I am glad to be here and I look
forward to your replies. Have a Great Day.
Matt H.
Hello,
Can't believe I hadn't thought to look for a group like this before!
I'm from an English team of stiltwalkers who work with training
children to walk on stilts through Scouting and Guiding Jamborees.
We have walked on single poles for many years, and wanted something
that would be fun for us to demonstrate on, so for this summer we
bought 5 sets of powerisers. Best fun we ever had! We've discovered
all the problems listed in the previous messages, and I've now got
some good ideas for solving them, so thanks to all previous posters.
If you'd like to take a look at some of the work we do training
youngsters on stilts, our website is http://www.stiffandstilted.com
I'd like to add some of the photo pages listed here to our list of
stilt links, so some of our friends in England can see what can be
done. Everyone who saw us on the powerisers wanted to know where to
get them from!!!!! If this is not acceptable then I will not do it
of course.
Once again, thanks for all your posts, I've enjoyed reading it all.
The stiff and stilted team
Saturday there is going to be a free concert in Golden gate Park.
Spearhead along with the String Cheese Incident will be playing. I
will be there with my powerisers and I hope that anyone from the Bay
Area can go too. It should be a cool environment to bounce around.
Lee
Thanks you.
I normally wear elbow guards; however, when I am doing jumps I am OK
most of the time. It is when I start running fast over and around
obstacles that I spend time cleaning up blood. SO for that day I went
without. The wrist guards are a very heavy duty pair made by roller
blade. If anyone has fallen on risers you know good wrist guards can
make a huge difference, and if not, wait.

Great pics. I cut/pasted top photos to side, to fit
wallpaper ratio, and now use it for wallpaper.
Nice looking wristguard, what brand/model is it ?
Got any tips on kneepad fit/use with powerisers ?
Why no elbow pads ?

Hey all, I actually got my powerisers working for 4 days!!!
www.superdairyboy.com is the only person in the USA capable of
standing behind this product, and was able to get me some parts for my
risers. I need more because they are broken yet again, but at least I
was able to take some pics.
Here is a collage I worked up for all to see that someone with 4
months experience can get some air.
I ran the bay to Breakers on them and I am currently working here
www.trapezearts.com to master flips. I have landed one so far. Check
out my collage.

either way, doesn't wrapping in hockey tape help with spring
breakage? Also, the powerisers don't offer the pro model the
powerskips do.. I'd say for those, it's worth the increased price,
especially if you're performing. They capture the energy of the
ankle pivoting for increased foreward thrust, increasing running
speed.
You won’t find risers in a brick and
mortar store, because of too much liability and they are fairly expensive.

Well they are dangerous, you fall from pretty high when you are showing
off like I do. JSo maybe she has a
point. If you can go very fast will
rollerblades across rough concrete and stay up maybe you can convince her you
won’t kill yourself on risers. If you like the show Jackass, don’t get risers.
