Poweriser Question   Message List

Well, I just got my Powerisers in the mail. So far, I put on some knee
pads, elbow pads, wrist gaurds, and a helmut, and walked on the risers for
about 15 minutes. I started off against a wall and carefully ventured out
with nothing to hold onto. Though I did not fall, I am pretty intimidated
with the concrete and the fact that if I did fall, it has GOT TO BE ugly!
Due to my profession, I cannot afford to injure myself terribly!

I am wondering if those of you that have been using the risers could answer
some questions for me. First, what is the best way to fall? Please be
discriptive when describing. I feel like maybe it would also be a good idea
to add some kind of chin gaurd and possibly some cushion in the chest
area.??? I feel like learing how to crash correctly may be the most
important thing to learn in the beginning...would this be correct? Please
give me any and all comments on being a beginner on the Powerisers! Another
question I have is what is the best kind of knee padding to get to take up
the extra room around your knee to ensure the least amount of flexibility
and the most rigidity!? Thanks in advance!

Shawn

Shawn, - I'd say the best way to fall is to the side. If your going to fall let your knees take you down to the ground a ways then fall over to your side and...
