Hi,
. I own 2 pairs of Powerisers and have been using them for atleast 6 months now. I've mastered basically everything you can do on them, including flips. I'm actually making an urban Poweriser video, similar to skateboard videos, me and my bro both own them
- Poweriser is constantly changing the design to improve them. The latest Powerisers have some major differences from the origonal ones.
Theses include:
- Rubber coated springs to protect from damage
- Aluminum top bar vs. old metal one to reduce weight
- Velcro back strap around calf, doesn't come loose like old ones
- The top bar which loops around the front of your leg is now attached to
the Poweriser with long allen bolts and a metal piece, instead of
plastic
- Greatly improved binding straps/attachment
Conclusion:
Poweriser has got all the major problems worked out with its latest model. It is a safe bet to buy Powerisers now. The only thing I can see that might improve the product is more weight reduction and more reliable springs. If you abuse your powerisers the springs will break. The rubber coating on the springs does greatly improve the chance it won't get damaged. Also try not to use your Powerisers on gravel or rough surfaces because they will greatly wear the rubber boot.
