Hello,
Can't believe I hadn't thought to look for a group like this before!
I'm from an English team of stiltwalkers who work with training
children to walk on stilts through Scouting and Guiding Jamborees.
We have walked on single poles for many years, and wanted something
that would be fun for us to demonstrate on, so for this summer we
bought 5 sets of powerisers. Best fun we ever had! We've discovered
all the problems listed in the previous messages, and I've now got
some good ideas for solving them, so thanks to all previous posters.
If you'd like to take a look at some of the work we do training
youngsters on stilts, our website is http://www.stiffandstilted.com
I'd like to add some of the photo pages listed here to our list of
stilt links, so some of our friends in England can see what can be
done. Everyone who saw us on the powerisers wanted to know where to
get them from!!!!! If this is not acceptable then I will not do it
of course.
Once again, thanks for all your posts, I've enjoyed reading it all.
The stiff and stilted team
