Greetings fellow Power Bombers!
It's the 4th of July and while that may mean backyard barbecues
and
family gatherings as this year the holiday is on a Friday it also
means that it is once again time for Power Bomb! So after all the
food but before the fireworks tune into the show as we have a lot to
cover from this week!
First off I will have a report from last Saturday's Ring Of Honor
show in Philadelphia, PA. From one of the best Women's matches
I've
ever seen to the defense of the NWA World Title I will recap the
action as it happened. I will also tell you which wrestler's
running
commentary broke kayfabe for me the entire night and why ring rats
are the most annoying species known (and I mean that in the biblical
sense) to man.
Then we will take a look at the lackadaisical offerings from WWE this
week. Starting with a Raw show that gutted their Women's Division
to
SmackDown where Hulk Hogan's departure was poorly dealt with,
things
at Titan Towers seem a bit shaky this week.
We will also take a look at NWA-TNA at the surprising (and painful)
first title shot for Frankie "The Future" Kazarian. Is
NWA-TNA on the
road to a second year of success, or are they beginning to be mired
in the "Russo Effect"?
All this plus a preview of this weekend's Chikara Pro show and
much
more!
Programming Note: On Tuesday July 8th, Power Bomb will feature TWO
live guests- WWE Hall of Fame Member Johnny Valiant and indy star
Chase Stevens. In order to allow time for both of these great
wrestlers Power Bomb will begin at 6PM Eastern/3 Pacific with the
Valiant interview and then feature the Stevens interview beginning at
7PM Eastern/4PM Pacific. Mark your calendars, you do not want to
miss these exciting interviews!
Power Bomb Radio airs LIVE every Tuesday AND Friday at 7PM Eastern,
4PM Pacific. Both the live show and the archive (available all week)
can be found at the official Power Bomb website-
http://www.powerbomb2000.com . If you can make the live show, be sure
to join our chatroom (http://www.powerbomb2000.com/chat) since that's
where ALL the action takes place on Power Bomb, where we talk all
things wrestling!
