Sure enough... they did. Wrestlecrap has a nice recount of similar
gimmicks in the past: namely The Machines (Andre the Giant as Giant
Machine, and later Hulk Machine and Piper Machine) and Dusta Whodes
as the mysterious Midnight Rider.

RD Reynolds, the guy behind Wrestlecrap, has a Wrestlecrap Book
coming out too, maybe you can get him on the show to plug the thing.
