      Thanks for doing such a great job on the P/T website. Although I`ve
enjoyed the other two websites, this one is really special because it`s the
official one, which means that they`ve approved of all of its content. I`ve
been checking SkateWeb for a year now waiting for a third site, but one never
came. I found your site by accident two weeks ago and have visited it almost
every day since.
     Did you ever consider announcing it on r.s.s.i.f. (where I hang out) or
the other place, FSWorld, and including a hotlink? Maybe you`ll get a few
hits. As it now stands, almost nobody knows about it
     They`re the team that turned me on to pairs skating. Before that I only
watched ice dance. Now P/T is the only team in either discipline whose career
I`m enthusiastic about.

of Maria and Alexey, because i think that they  haven't good and official
site! I hope that your site will very good. I'm love Masha and Alexey after
their dance "Dance me to the end of love" - it's super dance - their
emotions very beautiful! I hope that they'll very good season. I'll crossed
my finger on all season for they. I'm sorry my bad english. I'm always want

a mutual friend) to meet Alexei and Maria.  They are both incredibly
sweet and I really loved their programs.  I think the programs
have a lot of potential for this season.  Their short program
is adorable and different from previous seasons.

I'm currently working on their Official web site and am going
to be faxing Alexei some questions to do a Q & A.  If anyone

Hi Jen and other One List Members!

I saw Petrova and Tikhonov's exhibition on Eurosport online.  It
looked very entertaining.  I will be happy to see the complete
program when it comes on in America in one month.

My favorite P/T long program is 1999 NHK Trophy Four Seasons.  It was
performed well and inspiring.  Of course, I was very happy after the
2000 Worlds Four Seasons when Maria and Alexei won. ;)

Hi,

I hope everyone is doing well.  Spring is here, and I'm sure everyone
is getting excited for your favorites at next week's World Figure
Skating Championships.

I'm sure many of you have busy schedules, but won't you please take a
moment to write a message to Maria and Alexei.  It could be a note
simply wishing them well, length does not matter.  I'm sure any
appreciation or encouragement is helpful since media coverage of
Petrova/Tikhonov is somewhat low key.  This is a wonderful
opportunity to reach them since there are not many websites out there
with such options.

I know everyone here cares, and enjoys this amazing team.  They are
serious contenders for the gold medal at Worlds with a strong silver
medal finish at Europeans.  This could be their year.

So, if you are able, please send your messages, and I will be happy
to compile a document for Manuela.  I'm sure she is leaving for Nice
very soon.  May everyone attending have a good time.

Hi! This is a brief review of the GP final am sending... just notes...

I'm back from the GP final, where I was accredited as photographer by
Italy's main skating magazine Ghiacciosport. Impressions: Lyon is a
fascinating city in a  modest way: loved walking near the river, and just
going around. The media hotel I was at (Ibis Gerland) was truly at walking
distance from the ice rink and not expensive. The organization wasn't
perfect (some friends told me of  tickets sold for seats
actually....occupied by Ms Duchesnay and the France 2 staff or by the ABC
staff : ((((  Relocation was awful......
No Fuji lab available for photographers, no pins for sale, few GP related
souvenirs available. The program, so so and pricey.
Press room small but comfortable, lockers available but too small for
anything conistent to lock in.... like gear.
Great creperie right near the press room (a true temptation every time I
passed there : ))))  restaurant service inside for press and other people
with a pass, food was great! (ABC had reserved tables there).Right near the
restaurant was a nice press conference room but conferences were held
sometimes at not convenient times (schedule was tight).
Photographers weren't allowed to stay near the ice, and reserved seats were
too far from the ice for my taste. I managed to photographed from judges
site and near the ice on Friday and then Saturday thanks to a nice ABC
technician who allowed me and mycolleague  to occupy seats in the area
reserved to ABC they didn't actually use. It was nice to see Button, Hamill
work from nearby.
And tough to see their faces after Kwan's skating.
The Meridienne is bad architecture but located near a wonderful restaurant
we ate at on Sunday evening (Le maison du l'entrecote), the hall is at the
23rd floor. It was interesting to be there on Sunday evening (we went to
meet Barbara - Fusar Poli anc chat a little bit about everything) and see
people leave for the party at Peizerat's house. Yes, somebody skipped it
....  (B&K, I noticed).

Ok, now some information about my photos. I managed to photograph
everything - all competitions and programs - and everyone, light was good as
TV was there. I didn't like the format of the competition but it was good
anyway to see the top ones in such a concentrate way... a strange
experience, very tiresome photographically but also exciting.  The crowd was
nice with almost all the skaters, and wuite warm.
English wasn't welcome tho... I was asked to speak Italian slowly
instead.... mah.
Saturday was definitely
too long. The voyage from/to Milan was comfortable, just a little more than
6 hrs by train (on the train from Milan with us travelled Mauri Margaglio's
father and his girlfriend).

Anyway, back to photography, here's what I have available and can offer:

- A CD ROM with all the best photos from the GP.

- Glossy color prints (15X21 cm enlargements), you can order the following:
sets of 5 photos of your favourite skater/pair/dance couple, I'll choose the
best from the various programs performed and the gala or you can specify
what you prefer. A number of photos mentioning the skaters you want photos
of, minimum should be five.  Or just ask me if you'd like something
different, ok?

Of course it'll take me at least two weeks because everything is ready but
I'll process orders according to date.

Email me for more details on ordering and proces as I don't want to make
this email commercial in any way.

Also, photos from the Millennium tour are available now. Hollander was
there, btw.

why he didn't skate.

Hello,

I've just subscribed to this list, so I want to introduce myself. I'm
Manuela Federella, 28, from Milan, Italy, and I'm a skating enthusiast, a
"just for fun" skater, and a freelance skating photographer and writer (I
freelance for various magazines including American Skating World and I'm
Fusar Poli and Margaglio's personal photographer in Italy). My favourite
discipline is ice dance, but I also love European skating in general.
I photographed P&T last year at Europeans.
