Sorry, I have a correction to one part of my message...
Actually Savchenko & Morozov were doing an even more difficult sequence last season. They landed a 3toe....3toe at Worlds. I think this is a couple really worth watching.
I kind of forgot about them because they've been injured all season. I probably should have had them somewhere in my Olympic non judge ranking (and rather high in it too!). They already have throws almost as big as S&Z's. Saw it with my own eyes at Euros last season. She covered almost half the width of the rink.
As far as I'm concerned they're being really held down in senior ranks (well on the technical mark anyway - they're presentation is at the moment really poor, although I'm actually speaking about how it was last season, possibly they've improved it).
I don't really mind mistake no 1 much because all the other top couples (except T&M) were doing 2A...2T anyway. P&T risked a sequence which as far as I'm aware only 2 other top couples in the World are able to match: S&Z are also doing 2A...3T and T&M go even further by doing a combination instead of a sequence - 3T/2T, what's even more breathtaking about T&M in this element is they do it in the middle of their program!
