The exhibition they did at Euros was an old one - I think it was the one they did in their first season together (the song goes something like "dance with me, in the name of love").
As for Olys I'm worried that the results in pairs will be even more predictable than in ice dance. Pairs judging lately has been really horrible. Now, if the judges judge as they have this will probably be the top 6:
1. S&P
2. B&S
3. S&Z (as usual winning on the technical with both couples above, but even though they've made tremendous presentation progress this season, still loosing on the presentation)
4. I&Z
5. T&M (T&M will probably win with I&Z on the technical mark, but loose overall on the presentation, at least that's how it's been this season)
6. P&T
Of course if someone has a disaster this ranking will be slightly changed, but providing that nobody does, I think this will be the order. If I'm right, than I'll be very unhappy because pairs skating should be very unpredictable and I don't think it is...
In my opinion if you counted just technique then if everyone skated clean this would be the order:
1. S&Z
(the quality of the jumps - distance and height of both side by side and throw jump are just unmatched, difficult jump sequence, the 3twist is so wonderfully high, they are also the only pair to do the 3twist in the middle of their program, the way their new program is choreographed with absolutely no time for any preparation into the elements, some really nice lifts)
2. T&M
(the difficulty of the side by sides, only couple to do a 3salchow and a combination instead of a sequence - a 3toe in the middle of the program, some incredible one hand lifts with extremely smooth dismounts, probably the most difficult solo spin positions)
3. P&T
(difficult jump sequence, some really nice lifts with changes of postition)
4. S&P
(average top pair difficulty really, it's the quality of their skating that for me puts them above the other couples)
5. I&Z
(also average difficulty, good quality, but I think not quite as good as S&P)
6. B&S
(well, they're definetely not going to be clean since I don't ever remember seeing a clean 3twist from them, he usually doesn't catch her at all! just lets her drop!, apart from that their lifts are not as difficult as the other top couples, they have basic positions, not really any difficult dismounts, not much position changing)
Of course if you counted presentation marks this order would surely change a bit (well, I think especially B&S would go up in the ranking), but I'm not even going to attempt giving you an order with presentation... much too difficult!
Of course it's very unlikely that everyone does skate clean...
Well, anyway I don't believe the judging will be fair. I've so often seen S&P or B&S make mistakes and not get penalized enough for them that I just don't believe that they are going to end up out of the medals.

A poster to FSWorld named oubik, who seems to be on top of things, has posted on January 30 that the Russian Olympic Committee has selected Petrova+Tikhonov
to be on the Olympic team.Congratulations to both of them. It`s a great honor to be an Olympian. I won`t be on the edge of my chair during the pairs comp, not at all.
No matter how they finish they will still have the fun of being there. On second thought, though, if they finish 4th or higher, I`ll get to see their exhibition # on TV, which I haven`t seen yet. I think it`s a Russian folk #.
BFN,
Arthur
