Having problems with message search?
It's sometimes funny to learn the ages of people who you only contact through the internet, I've met 14-15 year olds who sound like 30 year olds as well as 30 year old married people who sound like teenagers... It's very weird.
I didn't actually think T&M were sloppy, well maybe a little bit, but it's understandable since she had a very high fever. In fact they weren't certain if she'd be able to skate at all. Considering that it was a quite incredible skate.
Besides, they were actually the fastest pair.
And was the American commentator actually live at the rink?? P&T weren't extremely fast, but they definetely were not slow. They were much faster than last year in the FP at Euros. A&B were definetely slower.
It's a bit disapointing P&T made 3 mistakes... A lot of people thought that it was unfair that they were ahead of Z&S since the Poles did a clean program. I thought in the end that it was ok because Z&S wouldn't have been able to skate that program even with so many mistakes - it was just so difficult.

When my wife`s younger sister came here to the US from Poland at the age of 18 it took her about a year to learn English and about three more years to lose the accent completely.
Euros is no longer a spoiler because pairs and dance long finally aired last night in the US. What struck me most was how sloppy Totmianina/Marinin were doing a program they`ve been doing for two seasons. The American commentators mentioned that P/T were very slow and still very much out-of-breath in the kiss and cry. In an interview I read of P/T at the time of the Good Will Games in September Alexei mentioned that they wouldn`t be going for the high-altitude training in Logan , Utah, but rather would be staying home in St. Petersburg. If that is still the case, I wonder if that`s wise. Jet-lag could also be a problem if they get to SLC only a couple days before the pairs short comp. I`m going to surf the web and try to find out if they changed their minds about that.
