Thanks :-)
The reason is actually because I was born in London. I have Polish origins and we moved back to Poland when I was eight. Of course now I'm ten years older, so my English is not quite at a native speaker level, my Polish is much better :-), but I can still sometimes fool people that English is my first language. My accent is ok and it's usually when I make a weird grammar error or start speaking on a serious topic, which I don't have the vocabulary for that people notice.
Back to skating though. How many of you have seen Euros and what did you think of P&T's finish? Some thought it a bit contreversial (although I think I more or less agree with and understand the result). Is this by now a non spoiler topic?

Many Europeans who know English as a second or even third language can put native-born English speakers to shame. Furthermore Monika understood what _I_ was saying, which isn`t always easy.
Good job, Monika. I`m impressed.
