Hi Arthur,
Some of the world travellers can probably answer better than me. I
have a friend that lives in Japan who mailed me a few weeks ago when
we were talking about the holidays. She told me Christmas is popular
there. Christmas songs are played in the stores, children receive
presents and special desserts (cakes) are served. New Years is
probably more popular than Christmas, but it is celebrated. I'm not
sure how long this has been.
Wow, so you've been a cheerer for P/T. That is okay. It is nice for
me to read positive comments about them.
Monika, I hope you enjoyed Euros. It sounds like the competitions
were close and interesting.
Is anyone reeling that Olympics are just over two weeks away?
P.S. Apologies if this posts twice. This is my first entry since
yahoo took over.
