Hi, All,
I think it`s rather sad that a mailing list for a team so inspiring (IMHO) should only have 22 members worldwide and even sadder that it should be so inactive. Perhaps some of you are actually spies for S/Z or S/P who joined back when P/T were more of a threat to them. Only kidding, of course.
Well, we are an affinity group, bound together by our recognition of P/T as very special. This is the only mailing list I belong to except for Kazekova/Dmitriev, which I joined a few years ago in the hopes of making contact with somebody who could share a copy of Mishkutenok/Dmitriev`s Can-Can, a rare piece of footage. W ell, that didn`t work out, I`ll soon be unsubscribing, and this list will be the only one I belong to.
I have no desire or inclination to become an identity on this list, but if that`s what it takes to maybe fetch a few posts, then I will (then you`ll find out how unknowledgable about figure skating that I am).
Ice dance is my favorite discipline and had been the only one I watched until P/T drew me into pairs. Today is the big day of the year for me because I get to see the US nationals OD on TV. Last year I was at the event because it was here in Boston. Forty minutes and it was over. I sat there stunned. It was like over in a blink.
I`ll identify myself. Arthur Raymond,62 yrs. old, retired hardhat, electrician to be exact. Maybe that will encourage some of you to do the same. I`d appreciate it if you did. Code names like they use on FSWorld are fine.
Thanks to the women who set up the P/T websites (there were 3, but now there are 2) (websites, not women) and this mailing list and the Yahoo chatroom (I`ve never been in it [or any chatroom for that matter} because I don`t know how to use such things. Also thanks to Monika from Poland for being kind and knowledgeable enough to help me out with my concern that P/T might not get appointed to the Olympic team.
Best wishes to all,
Arthur
