Having problems with message search?
Well, I've given thought to this, checked the Official Euros Page if there is truly no sign of O&S. No sign at all unfortunately. I'm very disapointed because the first thought I had when I heard B&S have withdrawn was "Oh goodie, I'll see O&S live" (ok, I know this was cruel towards B&S, but unfortunately that's how my mind works...).
As I see it there is absolutely no reason for P&T to not be sent to SLC because:
a. B&C or O&S would never get a placing any near to what P&T are likely to achieve and placings do count
b. O&S and P&T are both Velikova's students and it's unlikely that there'd be any plotting against P&T in their own training group.
I'm more likely to believe that the Russian Federation has something against Velikova and while they would be loosing a lot by not sending P&T, they can still let themselves not send O&S (after all, it's likely that B&C end up in more or less the same spot).
There is also a no corruption version. As far as I know B&S are retiring after Olys. This would mean the third spot for this year's Worlds is free. They may have planned to give both of their young, promising couples a feel of a big event by sending B&C to Euros and O&S to Worlds.
At any rate while I'm unhappy about O&S, I don't think any of this bodes badly fot P&T. Of course I cannot be sure, but I just can't see how the Russian Federation could profit from that.

As I understand things Petrova/Tikhonov have not yet been slotted and the Russian skating federation will anounce after Europeans who gets the spot.Now that B/S have withdrawn from Europeans, and have been replaced withBorzenkova/Chuvilyaev, the 5th place team at Russian nationals, rather than Obertas/Sokolov, the 4th place team, it would look to me like something strange is brewing. I hope not.
