I said I`d eat crow if D/V finished any higher than 6th @ Euros. I lied. Even though I didn`t get to see their CD, I was outraged that the judges gave them 2nd place. That plus the fact that D/V beat B/A at Karl Schaefer tells me that there is a massive collusion among the judges, new judging system notwithstanding.

     I thought maybe there was something wrong me, but the fact that quite a few posters at FSU had just as low an opinion of Drobiazko`s skating as I do told me that I was not alone.

A few  posters just plain didn`t like D/V personally because of their accusations after 2002 Worlds. That isn`t the case with me. If you go into the P/T mailing list archives, you can see that I was on D/V`s case pre-2002 Worlds

     I`m pretty disappointed that ISU, or whoever makes the decision, chose Latin Combo for OD at the Olys. I won`t be watching the ODs. I tried to watch them at Nationals on TV, but a few seconds into the first program shown I snapped it off. I don`t like cha-cha or samba music or how ice dancing adapts to it..

    Rumor has it that Ravensberger Waltz will be (a or the) CD. If it`s true, I`m happy. I`m looking forward to seeing the difficult face-to-face waltz-holds.
