I highly doubt that they will stay in another season. They want to move on. Coach, start their own school, get married and have children. There is no reason to "hate" Obertas because of that.

Is there any "new" news about Totmianina? Is she
expected to be well in time for the Olympics? Any
chance T&M just wanted an excuse to sit out Russian
Nats for some reason? (I am evil, too!)
Oh, and I don't care for O & S, either. I kept
wanting to like Julia Obertas, seeing as how she was
hyped up as the second coming of Katia Gordeeva, but I
just don't like what Moskvina is doing with this team.
And Obertas has definitely not lived up to the hype
for me.
--JennineHi, Jennine,Well, korolevakristya just told us that Totmianina is doing well. Vasiliev said that T/M are training for Euros, expect to go, and will make a decision about going on to Olys after Euros. In answer to your evil question, it`s inconceivable to me that T/M could give up their status as Russian National Champions unless Totmianina did really have a serious medical problem. As for O/S, it`s only human to have our favorite and least favorite athletes and frankly I started disliking Obertas at the time of the Palarmarchuk accident and she`s never given me a reason for finding her likeable since. There`s more. I find her physically very unappealing and listening to Peter Carruthers gushing about here "cuteness" rots me. What a bozo. Also the longer it takes for O/S to shape up, the more likely it is that we`ll get to see P/T for another season,Bye, bye,Arthur
