" While I admit that I wondered what happened to you, I also admit that it never occurred to me that you were just an even worse procrastinator than I am. ;-)
I also sent a second tape to you that IIRC had all American ice dance on it. If somehow that didn`t reach you, please let me know and I`ll make up another and send it to you. My e-mail address is JuncoX@...."
LOL! Yes; sometimes I have to admit that I am a procrastinator. :-(
It is a habit I vow in the New Year to correct.
I may still sometimes procrastinate, but I want to see something that needs to be done--and do it--in other words, take the action to accomplish it.
I believe that the more one does this, the easier it gets.......
Yes, Arthur, I'll bet your wife tells you to stop smoking. :-)
Well, I don't want to nag (smile), but that would be a great New Year's resolution to work on.
My brother smoked for years, tried to stop--and the last time, he was determined to kick the habit--and he hasn't smoked for several years now.
When I was 14, I thought it would be cool to see if I could smoke--holding a cigarette dangling between my fingers I considered cool at the time.
I tried to inhale twice, but it made me feel sick--it can when you first begin--so I never started smoking.
It was also cool at the time to "pretend" to smoke without inhaling, but I just did that a few times--LOL.
I'm sorry that I'm sending my letter to the group, Arthur.
That is because you letter to me was addressed to the group.
My apologies that this post is off-topic.
Arthur, I didn't receive the second tape with the ice dancers!
That's so kind of you to offer to resend it!
When did you send it?
My address is:

I had a nice Christmas with my family here in California.
Rain was expected for Christmas day--We are now in an El Nino year and do need rain.
But the day was fortunately sunny, and today was also sunny but cool.
"I had a particularly pleasant Christmas. We had a bit of a blizzard, people who normally would have visited, who would have been going, "Cough, cough" while I chain-smoked did not make it, so I got to smoke to my heart`s content. Social situations cause me to smoke particularly heavily. Cripes, I`m making myself sound like a Woody Allen type. Anyway, hope your Christmas was as pleasant as mine."
Yes it was, Arthur; thanks! :-)
That's funny about seeing yourself sometimes as a Woody Allen type. That would make an amusing scene for the hero in one of his films......
"Best wishes and Gutes Neues Jahr,
Arthur"
You too, Arthur! Alles Gute zur Jahreswende und einen guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr. All the best at the start of the new year and a good "slide" (Rutsch) into the New Year!
With best wishes--and don't smoke too much!
Marti :-)
