Horror Movies TOP 10...Coming in at Number 9...."Whatever Happened to Baby
Jane"...Early 60's movie starring hated rivals JOAN CRAWFORD and BETTE
DAVIS......Ole Betty serves up her wheelchair bound sister a rat for
lunch...That movie still creeps me out....... ~ My good buddy DAVE WALLWORK
reminded me how good the movie "Slapshot" is...It really is a top 10 sports
movie...... ~ Speaking of Dave he and I were on the 1987 PENINSULA WHITE SOX
team that started 3-18.....So to pass the time during road trips he and I would
check out the local merchants...We bought a new pair of sunglasses in EVERY
Carolina League City on EVERY road trip...So in a season we spent 3 months on
the road...I still have a huge duffle bag of sunglases that I have not even
taken the tags
off of...Also that season in edition to being GM I did ALL 140 games on the
radio...So at 3-18 it really starts to be hard stay positive in that little
radio booth..."Well the White Sox only had 3 errors tonight instead of 5 even
though we lost our 6th straight game"....Boy that was fun...From "Big League
Dreams"..... ~ That's the Hump Day "Field"...Be Safe...Be Happy...Be Proud
