2003 Season Opening "Field"...My beloved Washington Redskins will host the
defending AFC East Champion NY Jets tonight on ABC....Of course the NFL will
have a huge pregame show headed by BRITNEY SPEARS.......Predictions....Brit will
take off many of her clothes and the 'Skins will win by 6....I know one of the
two will happen.... ~ Britney has taken alot of heat this week for her very wet
kiss with MADONNA on the MTV Video Music Awards - Does MTV still play music
videos? - Anyway let's give her a break.....On The Clinton News Network this
week CNN - She said this about President Bush "I trust him and think Americans
should trust him.......I think he is doing a good job and is a good
person...."....And you know MADONNA is writing chiledren's books now..... ~ FROM
"Big League Dreams" .....In 1990 and 1991 MADONNA was hot...Her song
"Vogue" was all the rage...In Baseball we always tend to keep track of history
by what song was popular when.....Anyway my protege and AGM Marc Techman did and
still does the best version of "Vogue" the world has ever seen...At times in
local watering holes he would break out in song....And Marc I have found a tape
of you and I that we recorded of "Vogue" in Canada during one of our road
trips......For copies please email me.....No nix that...There is also a tape of
a broadcast of an Auburn Astros game from Niagara Falls, New York that our
Director of Broadcasting....and gm is on....Let's call it my early "W"
(President Bush wild years)phase.......NOTE TO SELF...Avoid pregame adult
beverages before broadcasting live from baseball park in upstate New
York.....Just like "W" those days are long gone for this camper..... ~ DID YOU
KNOW That... The Redskins were the first pro football team with it's own
marching band.....fight song.....To have all of it's games broadcast on
TV....And has
had EVERY GAME since 1967 SOLD OUT.....Also the song originally said "Fight for
old Dixie" but was thought not PC enough..... ~ Rounding Third......You Can't
Win Them All...If You Don't Win The First One...That's my Redskins Field of
Dreams...Hail to the Redskins....Sic Semper Tyrannis...Let's Roll!!
