The Phillies spent the first 158 games chasing the Mets before
catching them after winning number 159 on Thursday. On Friday, they
went one game up, but fell back to a tie on Saturday. This brings us
to the Sunday finale with the NL Eastern division championship to the
winner and a possible tie with San Diego for the NL Wild card for the
loser.
