NEWS Rocket has landed; season set to take off Roger Clemens made a theatrical return to New York this week, surprising a packed house at Yankee Stadium by announcing in the middle of a game that he would rejoin the Bronx Bombers. How much of an impact he will have on the season remains to be seen, but a number of other clubs -- the Brewers, Braves, Mets, Dodgers, Red Sox, Indians and Tigers, for example -- are enjoying their own theatre as the season approaches the one-third mark.
