Hi Mark,
According to our records, you have purchased a copy of IMBA's trailbuilding
manual, "Trail Solutions: IMBA's Guide to Building Sweet Singletrack." We
hope that you have found it to be a valuable addition to your library.
If you found "Trail Solutions" to be an informative and useful resource, you
might consider the newly released 2nd edition of the classic trailbuilding
treatise "Lightly on the Land: The SCA Trail Building and Maintenance
Manual."
First published in 1996, "Lightly on the Land" is widely regarded as one of
the best traditional trailbuilding books available. Every chapter of this
new edition has been fully updated by the original author Bob Birkby and the
team at the Student Conservation Association (SCA). The new edition includes
fresh approaches, new ideas, and modern applications of traditional skills.

When it comes to books about trailbuilding, IMBA recommends "Trail
Solutions" as the best place to start. If you want more in-depth information
on trail design, we suggest "Natural Surface Trails By Design," by Troy
Scott Parker. But if it's trail construction that interests you, then
"Lightly on the Land" is hard to beat.
Many thanks,
The IMBA Team
