Having problems with message search?
All right everybody, spring is trying real hard to get here. I can tell by the volumne of bicycle related e-mails coming thru! Seems like everyone is getting the 2 wheel itch. And I am hearing from folks they have been out getting in some pavement rides. Good for them!
A few things.......it's time to get your bike in good working order. You don't want to miss the first rides because the parts you needed to replace are still on your bike! Get with it.
And our first meeting is coming up soon. In fact mark on your calendar April 2nd. A Tuesday. At Laughing Dog Brewery in Ponderay. We are breaking with tradition here for the first meeting by having it on a Tuesday, but there is alot going on, we've been busy this winter. Leah and I are taking a vacation early April, I feel it's important for me to be at the first meeting, hence the Tuesday date.
I hope to have a full house for our first meeting, remember 2008 dues will be collected.
Of note, we have a new Secretary. Paula Lee now is occuppying that chair. Thank you Paula. You all will remember she was our volunteer of the year for 2007. Glad to see she continues to be generous with her time!
I am pretty proud of our bike club. We have come a long way in just a few short years. Our project load is expanding, and so are the members taking them on. New faces are stepping up and taking on some of the responsibility. From those of us who have been taking on the bulk of the projects and details, we thank you!
There will be an official notice sent out, along with a reminder, later in the month with the time, date, and location.
In the meantime, skiing is still great! But don't forget about the fine bike out in the shed.....
