What: Schweitzer is bringing in Methow Valley coaches for an XC skate clinic!
When: February 9th and 10th: Schedule is the same each day*
> 2.5 hour sessions: 9:30-12:00 a.m., 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
> 2.5 hour sessions: 9:30-12:00 a.m., 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
How Much: $35 per session. You can sign up for 1 or 2 session per day.
(Which is 1/2 the price of a 1 hour lesson at Methow)

* Session Description:
Skate Clinic 1: start and finish at Picnic Point hut
For the skater who has some experience, can skate most of the trails here at Schweitzer and wants to improve on technique: Poling tempo changes with V1 V2 and V2 alternate, and would like to learn how to climb a hill with ease and descend with confidence.
Skate Clinic 2: start and finish the Snowsports Private Meeting Area
For the beginner who has done some cross country skiing and would like to try skating for the first time.
Become familiar with skate equipment, some fundamental downhill techniques and uphill techniques and the basics of how to use your poles properly.
