Hope you got a chance to look at the message Jennifer Fortune sent last week about the Advocacy Committee's work. Marty Taylor, a former planner and current developer, tells us that an important piece of information is a compilation of existing trails which should be saved.
To this end, we can use the help of anyone who has familiarity with trails between Hwy 2 and Baldy road, west of Sandpoint, to Carr Creek. This includes Syringa, the "beaver ponds", Janish Drive, and probably others. Please come to the Advocacy Committee meeting this Thursday, Dec 8. Sam McGlothlin has created a map with property boundaries, and we plan to fill in the trails. We will be meeting at 6 PM at his office, Black Diamond Engineering. I'll bring some beverages.
