I was suffering from a bit of spring fever with this balmy weather we are having, so it seemed like a good day to go install the expanded metal deck surface. Accompanied by my 2 faithful black dogs we shoveled the snow and chipped the ice off the bridge and laid the decking. I did not do the end ramps as I see that there may need to be some modifications there. But the top part is now done. It looks good.

And then the dogs were begging for a hike. I am very pleased to see our trail is well traveled even in the winter. It is solid boot and dog tracks. A bit icey in spots, so a bike ride would be exciting. We did stray some to the west, and jeez, if we could get permission to go that way with a trail.....the vistas are supreme! And slick rock........

And, no, we didn't find any antlers.

Chris

PS Don't forget, if interested, Bike Festval meeting Monday, Feb 12, at Eichardts, upstairs at 5:30.

And also, first mountian bike race of the year down in Lewiston, March 5th.
