April 5, 2009 Glen R. Hall, 56, of Parish, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at home. Born in Syracuse, he had resided in the Altmar and Parish areas for 35 years. He retired in 2008 as night foreman at Omega Wire in Williamstown after 28 years of service. Glen proudly served 26 years in the New York Army National Guard and retired in 1996 at the rank of major. Glen is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Ruth E. Perham; a daughter, Jennifer (Remon) Abdalla of Rochester; two sons, Glen Hall II of Parish and Robert (Sharon) Hall of Alexandria, VA; a grandson, Joshua of Rochester; his mother, Gretchen Hall of Oswego; and one brother, William Hall of Waco, Georgia. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 8, 2009, from 5 to 7
p.m. at WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 S. Main St., Central Square, with a service to follow at 7 p.m. A graveside service with military honors will be Thursday, April 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery in Parish. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, Inc., PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126-0102. |
