| January 18, 2009 Roselyn J. McDonald of Parish, NY, died Sunday, January 18, 2009. Rose was a loving and faithful wife of 48 years to her husband, Ernest McDonald, who survives her. Rose was a hardworking woman who did anything she could to take care of her family. She is survived by seven children, Gerald McDonald, 47, Richard McDonald, 45, Lisa Reed, 43, Vivian McDon-ald, 41, Benjamin McDonald, 40, Sherry Kling, 39, and Matthew McDonald, 38; granddaughter, Lyndsey (Joshua) Blauvelt; two brothers, Richard Rood and Douglas Rood; six sisters, Dorothy Strutz, Nancy Taylor, Linda Myers, Susan Romanowski, Rosemary Race and JoEllen Gates; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, who kept her going. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday from Parish United Methodist Church. Spring burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway, NY. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday from Harter
