January 3, 2009 Irma L. Graham, 90, of Central Square, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009, at her home. Born in Syracuse, Irma graduated valedictorian of her class at Central High at the age of 16. Irma was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Alvin. Irma and her husband, Alvin, retired in 1962 from the hardware store they built in Parish. She spent winters in Stuart, FL, and summers at Sandy Pond. Irma enjoyed traveling, boating, music, her many good friends and her "best cat," Katy. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Longley of Central Square; son, Wayne (Loretta) Graham of Parish; five grandchildren, Victoria (Frank) Selbe of Roanoke, VA, Jeffrey (Robin) Longley of Pulaski, Rodger (Veronica) Lon-gley of Oswego,
Allen (Mindy) Graham of Parish and Jackie (Victor) Bernardi of Pasadena, MD; nine great-grandchildren; and her friend, Jerrold May of Central Square who helped her so much after her move to Central Square and when her health was declining.
