December 23, 2008 Russell R. Redhead Sr., 71, of Constantia, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Born in North Syracuse, he had lived in Parish for 19 years before moving to Constantia in 1988. He owned and operated Russ's Body Shop in Parish for five years. Russell was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the North American Hunting Club and the NRA. Surviving are his companion of 20 years, Brenda Laws; a daughter, Alicia Davis of Parish; three sons, Russell Jr. of Wagner, SC, Paul of Victor, NY, and Lee of Bridgeport; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his former wife, Patricia; a sister, Dor-ene Redhead of Hannibal; two brothers, Francis and Dean, both of Brewerton; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 6 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 S. Main St., Central Square, with spring burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mallory. Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, before the service. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
