The Updykes all gathered at Eric and Caroline's in New Jersey for Thanksgiving.  Jeff, Kelly, Lindsey, Haley and Tanner traveled from Connecticut and Troy and Kammi  and daughters Reece and Jane flew from Charlotte, NC and Elaine drove from Parish.  It was great to all be together.  There were twenty in all for Thanksgiving dinner.  Caroline's parents, grandparents, and cousins also joined the festivities.

 On Saturday, Nov. 29, Eric and Caroline and twins, Jake and Lauren, Elaine and Jeffrey drove to Tunkhannock, PA for the 50th Wedding Anniversary party for cousins, Albert and Kay Dymond.  There were about l50 relatives and friends in attendance.

Rose Henderson rode with Elaine Updyke to Oswego on Friday, Dec. 12, to visit her brother Bud Smith at St. Luke¢s Health Service in Oswego.  While there, Elaine visited Velma Caswell, and her mother¢s (Bertha Wood) former roommate, Ann Chatterson.

Kudos to Sharon Robbins for the wonderful curtains donated and hung at the Mills and Petrie Memorial Gymnasium.

The Parish Seniors and friends enjoyed a delicious lunch with great service at the Make Sense Shop in Pulaski on Wed., Dec. 17.  All those attending had an enjoyable time.

The 2009 Parish Relay for Life (formerly Northern Oswego County Relay) will have the next committee meeting on Jan 12 at 6:30pm at the APW Middle School cafeteria. 

A last hurrah for 2008 in Parish!  A New Years Eve celebration at the Mills and Petrie Memorial Gymnasium, 2938 East Main Street, with basketball, table tennis, games, wii, cards, car races, crafts and more.  Pictures taken in Parish throughout 2008 will be shown on the big screen. The fun begins at 7 p.m.  Bring along a snack to share and non-alcoholic beverages for your family.  Coffee will be provided and pretend champagne for the magical hour in 2009 fun glasses.  Let¢s make some noise!!!
