November 20, 2008 Edward H. Freebern, 84, of Parish, died Thursday at Oswego Hospital. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was an inspector for General Electric for 37 years. He was a lifetime member of the Harmony Riders. Survivors: wife of 56 years, the former June Sullivan; one daughter, Ellen M. Maichak of North Syracuse; three sons, Wayne (Madeline) Maichak of Parish, Frank (Cindy) Freebern of Fulton and Mark Freebern of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Freebern of Collamer and Francis Free-bern of Central Square; two sisters, Elizabeth Boyke of Cicero and Joan Cooms of NC. He was predeceased by one brother, Carlton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from Harter Funeral
