Judith Skinner O'Brien  class of 1964

November 1, 2008 Judith "Judy" I. O'Brien, 61, of Amboy Center, pas-sed away Saturday after a brief illness, with family by her side. Judy graduated from APW High School in 1964. She earned her nursing degree in 1967 at Albany Medical Center. She enjoyed her nursing career of 41 years, including the past 31 years at St. Joseph's Hospital. Judy was a member of Amboy Center Methodist Church. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Sarah Skinner, and her nephew, Scott Skinner. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Maurice F. O'Brien; four children, Maurice F. O'Brien, Bridget Marion and Kristen O'Brien and Sean (Yumiko) O'Brien; one brother, Douglas (June) Skinner; one grandson, Lincoln Marion; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service: 8 p.m. Thursday at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main Street, Central Square. Calling Hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
