Baum, Glenn W. "Bill"

July 21, 2008 Glenn W. "Bill" Baum, age 72, life resident of Pulaski and Parish, died Monday at University Hospital in Syracuse. Born on July 25, 1935 in Parish, he was the son of Lloyd and Marion Johnson Baum. He attended Parish schools and served in the US Army Reserves. He married Linda LaRock on April 19, 1980. Bill was employed by NYS Dept. of Transportation at Mexico for 14 years retiring in 1994. He also had been employed by GE in Syracuse and in construction for several years. Surviving: his wife, Linda M.; two daughters, Patricia (Greg) Hall of Vero Beach, FL, Christine (Fred) Matteson of Oswego; one son, Glenn (Angie) Baum Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; one stepdaughter, Dena (Dennis) Morrell of Pulaski; one stepson, Jay Radley of Altmar; one brother, Lloyd "Bob" (Julie) of Hasting; one sister, Inez (Gordon) Kellogg of Parish; several grandchildren, and his dog and companion, Pooker. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to funeral service. Donations can be made to Northern Oswego County Ambulance, Delano St., Pulaski, NY 13142.
