| December 3, 2007 J. Bruce Callahan, 76, of Oswego and formerly of Parish, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at University Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, he had lived in Parish for 18 years and was a US Army Veteran. He was a Production Manager for Union Carbide Corp. where he worked for 33 years before retiring in 1985. Bruce was a member of St. Anne's, Mother of Mary Catholic Church and the St. Mary's Senior Stars, both in Mexico. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former, Joan Crossman; three daughters, Anne Perry, of Carlisle, Pa., Mary Koehler, of Fairport and Katherine Tobey, of Merimack, NH; two sons, Daniel, of Oswego and Timothy, of Farmington Hills, MI; a brother, Donald, of Orlando, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren. Services will be, 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at St. Anne's Mother of Mary Church, Main St., Mexico with spring burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Colton. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 So. Main St., Central Square. Contributions to the Mexico Volunteer Fire Department, Mexico, NY 13114. |
