A tad of news......I visited my mother (Katherine Gimlick) and sister in
Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and brought my mother back to Fuquay
Varina, NC with me when I came home on Sept 19th. She spent a week here
and it's the first time she was able to visit in several years because
of my father's health. We've been trying to get her down for a visit
since he died in March and it finally worked out. My wife and I really
wanted her to see our "retirement house" that we built two years ago.
She drove back with me and I put her on a plane home on the 26th of
Sept. We had a great time and also got to take her down to the coast to
see her brother's oldest son whom she hasn't seen in many years. It was
a great little family get together in New Bern, NC.

That's about it from what's left of the Gimlick family.....except I just
found out my youngest son and his wife are expecting my first grandchild
in April :-) I'm officially old now.
