| Septemer 19, 2007 June Bartell Cronk, 78, of U.S. 11, Parish, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at home. She was born June 24, 1929, in Baldwinsville, a daughter of Stanley and Shirley Case Tucker. She had lived in the Mexico area for many years, operating Bartell's Inn in Colosse, NY, along with her husband, Grover C. Bartell II. He passed away October 26, 1989. She had lived in Elbridge for many years before returning to the Mexico area in 1990. She was predeceased by her second husband, Richard E. Cronk. June had worked for Cambridge Filter for several years, retiring in the late 1980s, and was a volunteer for the Elbridge area Meals on Wheels program. Surviving are three daughters, Kathy and Ron Phelps of New Haven, Patricia Bartell of Maple View and Linda Marino of Lacona; two sons, Grover C. Bartell III of Parish and Gregory of Redfield; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 30, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge, NY. Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Oswego County Hospice or to the American Diabetes Assoc. |
