June 17, 2007 William "Bro" Joseph Edward Thompson, 61, passed away Sunday at Iroquois Nursing Home. He was born on March 13, 1946 in Syracuse. His parents were Grant L. Thompson Sr. and Eva Lena Anderson. He had graduated from Delhi Uni-versity and served in the U.S. Army and worked as a carpenter for Syracuse University. Bro enjoyed woodworking, golf, gardening and vacationing. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Janet Lilly Freim. His family includes: two daughters, Lynn Tassone of Parish and Ashley Thompson of Baldwinsville; brothers, Glenn Thompson of Syracuse and Grant Thompson Jr. of VA Beach, VA; sisters, Barbara Lynn Browning of East Syracuse, Joy Florence Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK, Michele Lynn Evans of Mt. Kisco, NY and several nieces and nephews. A going away gathering will be held at
