| June 12, 2007 Leland C. Neadle Sr., 81, of Tennessee, formerly of Mexico, NY, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Maryville, Tennessee. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Merchant Marines. He was a truck driver for many years with Red Star express lines and belonged to the teamsters Union. He was a member of the Hastings Volunteer Fire Dept. and the McFee Ambulance Corps. He was predeceased by his 1st wife, the former, Beverly J. Kingsley in 1983 and one son, David in 1988. Surviving: wife, former Lena (Richards) Preeman Neadle; six daughters, Linda (James) Lovell, Wisconsin, Wanda (Doug) Stevenson, Mexico, Penny Maynes, Mexico, Shari (Gary) Dann, Central Square, Francis (James) Dana, Mexico, Donna (James) Wood, Parish; four sons, Leland C. Neadle Jr., Mexico, Carl Neadle, Scriba, Richard (JoAnne) Preeman Jr., TN, George (Ethel) Preeman, Mexico; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Giles, Florida, Joy Rapponi, Florida. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday from Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. Burial: Carley Mills Cemetery, Town of Hastings. Calling hours: 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
