On Sunday May 27th a party was thrown by the parents of Reginald Ware to celebrate his 40th birthday. The big “over the hill” age, sister Laurie
Gervaise and neighbor Allyson Gould lined his walkway with black balloons the night before. Black balloons were flown from the mailbox and a sign stating his age was posted at his parents house. Lunch was served along with a birthday cake with 40 black candles to many family members, friends and neighbors. Reginald received many cards with $1.00 or $2.00 expressing sympathy and all kinds of suggestions with the money to be used for his future old age insurance, funeral expenses and more. It was a great celebration! Happy Birthday Reg.

Reverend Steve and Bette Logsdon are a big part of our community and many of you may know that Bette's mom fell and broke her hip. I would be nice to have a card-a-thon for Mrs. Bette Tharp to let her know we are thinking of her and have her lifted in prayer.
