Hi everyone--thought I'd start out your Monday with a note about some fun stuff to look forward to.

This Saturday, July 15, the PDC is getting together for a noon beach dive at Butterfly Beach. No club BBQ, just diving, though if you want to bring your own picnic lunch for afterward, some divers might stay and enjoy the beach awhile. Be sure to arrive early for parking; a space can be hard to come by in the summertime. The gathering point is at the stairs at the end of Butterfly Lane; see map on the PDC Midweek Dive Yahoo Groups site at http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/PDC_midweek_dive/files/ (this dive is the one shown on the LEFT side of the map).

Also, July is Great Annual Fish Count month, and our local dive boats are all offering discounts for fish-counting divers. You can head out on your own, or join the club for our "official" fish count dive on July 30  to the outer islands. See attached flyer for details. Please make your reservations directly with Truth Aquatics, then just drop a note to Steve Trainoff (strainoff@... ) to let him know you'll be on board. The club will provide the fish-count forms.
