Hello all:

I have now heard from the crew of the Lois Ann as to our trip to dive the Yukon
in San Diego. It looks like we will set it for September 12. They will provide
us the entire boat for a total of $700. We will get tanks and weights for 2
dives and snacks between dives. We can take up to 20 divers.

The price per person will depend on how many people we get committed to the
trip. I anticipate that we can fill at least 10 slots with our club, and we can
advertise in San Diego, etc. if we do not get a full boat. We may want to limit
the number of people on-board so we all have space.

My current estimate is that the price will be about $70 per person, but that can
go down if we get more than 10 people signed up.

Please let me know if you are interested. I would hope to get people committed
soon so we can reserve the boat now. We should take deposits from people, with
the understanding that if you cannot go and we can fill your spot you will get a
refund.

I suggest we consider going down to San Diego either by caravaning or maybe by
train. That can be fun, but will entail taxi service from the station. We will
deal with lodging another time.

This should be a wonderful trip, so sign up early.
