Hi All,

I know this is short notice, but just heard myself. There's a
conference on the the effectiveness of the Marine Reserves in the
Channel islands this week in Oxnard and there's some public sessions on
Thursday and Friday (Feb 7 and 8).

Our own Juli Bursek is chairing a session and giving a talk Thursday
night, and Christy Semmens is giving a talk about the REEF surveys
(those fish count trips in the summer) on Friday. There's a number of
other interesting talks as well...
